The Ring.

Five minutes inside a failing orbital wreck.
RING // DEAD SIGNAL is a 2.5D space survival game you can play in the browser. A salvage suit, an automatic nailer, and a short window to escape are all you begin with. Cross the Scrap Halo sector, bring its relay online, survive the Warden, and return to the landing pad before the wreck collapses.
Enter The RingMake room to survive
Your nailer fires automatically at nearby enemies it can see, leaving you to choose where to move. Circle through open space, dash away from pressure, and keep obstacles from trapping you. Crawlers close the distance, needle drones threaten from range, and brutes make narrow routes harder to hold. Collecting XP increases your level and the nailer’s damage.
Take the long way when you need it
Two connected routes lead through the sector. The relay is your first objective; a repair cache on the southern route offers a one-use health boost if you can afford the detour. Holding the interaction control builds relay progress, and moving away preserves what you have already completed. The clock makes every return trip matter.
A small world with a sharp silhouette
Original pixel sprites, metal deck tiles, cyan indicators, and acid-green accents give the wreck its industrial character. A fixed 2.5D view keeps routes and threats readable while the surrounding darkness hides the larger world. The short mission brings that atmosphere into a compact arc: arrival, escalating pressure, a final encounter, and the run home.

Find your way in.
Deploy and find your footing
Choose Deploy to Sector. Move with WASD or the arrow keys, and press Space to dash. On a touch screen, use the lower-left joystick and the Dash button. Your nailer handles firing.
Bring the relay online
Follow the relay marker across the sector. Hold E near it, or hold the Relay button on touch screens, until synchronization completes. Break away to dodge when needed; relay progress is retained.
Earn your way out
The Warden arrives at four minutes. Defeat it after activating the relay, return to the landing pad, and stay there for three seconds to extract before the five-minute deadline.
A few things to know.
Do I need to install The Ring?
No. Open the game in a browser with WebGL2 support and start a mission. The classic sector does not require an account, download, or API key.
Can I play on a phone or tablet?
The game includes touch controls: a joystick for movement, a Dash button, and a hold-to-use button for relays and repair caches. It supports portrait and landscape layouts; rendering performance depends on your device and browser.
How do I win a run?
Activate the relay, defeat the Warden, and reach the landing pad. Once both objectives are complete, remain inside the pad for three continuous seconds before the clock reaches five minutes. Surviving until the deadline alone is not enough.
Can I pause during a mission?
Yes. Press Escape or use the Pause control. The game also pauses when it loses focus, and the mission clock stops while paused. Resume explicitly when you are ready.
